Client: Xfinity
Project: Pride Campaign - Display Ads
Role: Creative Director and Project Manager
Tech/Tools: Google Display Ads, Google Web Designer, Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, CSS, Javascript
The Challenge
Xfinity needed a suite of dynamic HTML5 display ads for their annual Pride Month campaign to showcase their LGBTQ+ entertainment hub and community initiatives. The key challenge was translating vibrant, high-energy brand creative into sleek display units that remained ultra-lightweight, compliant with strict ad-network file size limits, and visually engaging across standard and skyscraper formats.
My Approach
Focused on crisp execution and performance optimization, I developed responsive HTML5 ad units utilizing clean CSS animations and custom asset compression. The visual strategy combined Xfinity’s signature identity with bold Pride imagery, using smooth frame transitions and clear typography hierarchy to guide the user’s eye naturally toward the call-to-action without compromising loading speed.
The Result
Delivered a high-performing, multi-size display suite (including standard 160×600, 300×250, and 728×90 formats) that maintained full cross-browser compatibility and fast load times. The campaign successfully elevated campaign visibility, drove user interaction with Xfinity’s curated Pride content, and met all technical delivery specs seamlessly.
